H&M All In: The Horse with Two Faces – A Living Legend Redefining Equestrian Apparel.

In the world of equestrian sport, few names command as much respect and admiration as H&M All In. With a legacy that transcends mere competition, this horse is not only an athletic marvel but also an icon that has helped shape the future of equestrian fashion. His journey, one of explosive talent, unmatched focus, and sheer determination, serves as a testament to his ability to break boundaries, both on and off the course.

In the stables, All In was notoriously sensitive—intolerant of noise, startled by flags, and prone to anxiety over the smallest distractions. Small in stature but large in heart, this seemingly temperamental horse proved that size doesn’t dictate greatness. His explosiveness, agility, and razor-sharp focus on the course would define him as one of the greatest showjumpers of his time.

This remarkable journey began in 2012, when a young and rising star, Nicola Philippaerts, clinched victory at the prestigious Falsterbo Grand Prix aboard Carlos VHPZ. Upon the sale of his horse, Nicola found himself in need of a top-tier partner. That’s when he had the chance to ride All In.

"At first, he was quite tense, especially over the jumps," Nicola recalls. "But from the moment I sat on him, I could feel his incredible potential. He was one of the best horses I’d ever ridden, always jumping with a natural grace. He was a bit spooky, though—just a falling leaf could set him off."

Despite his early spookiness, Nicola’s year with All In was filled with triumph, most notably in the World Championships for young horses, where they quickly became a standout pair. But after this successful season, Nicola and his father made a bold decision: they approached Peder Fredricson, a rider known for his calm demeanor and strategic mind, to see if he might be the right fit for All In.

Peder, at 1.9 meters tall, was initially skeptical about the small, temperamental horse. But upon his first ride, something changed.

"From the first stride, I knew there was something extraordinary about him," Peder admits. "He was quick-thinking, incredibly athletic, and his reaction time was off the charts. But the key was staying calm – if you let the pressure get to you, he'd react instantly. It was a delicate balance."

What Peder experienced that day was more than just potential – it was a connection, a rare bond between rider and horse. In fact, after his first ride, Peder made a promise:

“If we can’t buy H&M All In, I’ll quit riding.”

The following decade would prove to be a defining one for both Peder and All In. Together, they became an unstoppable force, racking up an impressive collection of accolades, including gold and silver medals at the Olympic Games, a gold medal at the World Championships, and both gold and silver at the European Championships. Their success propelled Peder to the top of the global rankings, cementing their place in history as one of the greatest partnerships in the sport.

But all good things must come to an end. On February 16, 2023, H&M All In retired from the sport that had defined his life. Now, he enjoys the quiet life, strolling through the paddocks of Peder’s farm, Grevlunda, living out his well-deserved retirement. Yet, as the saying goes, legends never truly fade away – they evolve.

In tribute to the legendary horse that changed the course of equestrian sport, a new chapter is being written. All In Equestrian was born – a brand inspired by the horse that redefined excellence, style, and performance in the equestrian world. With this venture, we aim to not only honor All In’s extraordinary legacy but also to revolutionize the world of equestrian apparel, just as he revolutionized the sport.
